Who are we

S.T.O. Suriname Travel Organization, Switzerland was established in 1999 in direct response to the requirements of our clients and supporting sensible and sustainable tourism in Suriname on a social and economic basis.

We are specialist in the organisation of ECO and Nature Tourism together with our partners Hotel Torarica, Hotel Eco Resort Inn and N.V. METS, Movement for ECO Tourism in Sirname.

S.T.O. Suriname Travel Organization in Freienwil/Schweiz is member of the Schweizer Reisegarantie . The amount paid by you in connection with your reservation are in accordance with the Swiss Federal law guaranteed.

Hotel Residence Inn has 37 comfortable rooms, with Airconditon, shower, WC, cable TV and mini bar .

The hotel Eco Resort Inn, a former planatage- house, was opened in 1997 and belongs to the group of Hotel Torarica. Eco Resort Inn has 72 comfortable rooms with shower and WC, Airconditon, mini bar and cable TV as well as two Executive rooms with Jacuzzi.

Which medical precaution?

For certain areas in the interior a malaria precaution is necessary. Please consult your  physician.

Document/conditions of entry:

Swiss citizen need a valid passport, which is valid at least 6 months beyond the return journey date for the journey. Visitors from other countries need a visa, which is available at the consulate in Amsterdam.
